Swansea Bay Business Awards
At the end of December last year, we announced that we had been recognised as one of three businesses in the Manufacturing business of the year category at the Swansea Bay Business Awards! The awards ceremony was held at the end of January, in Swansea’s Brangwyn Hall. We’re excited to share that we were runners up in our category. It was an honour to share the category with two other successful and respected Welsh businesses- Shufflebottom Limited and category winner- The Safety Letterbox Company (RENZ UK), a massive well done both! We’re extremely proud to have been shortlisted for this award, it was an inspiring evening being surrounded by other brilliant local Swansea businesses!

Packaging Innovations & Empack show roundup
We exhibited at Packaging Innovations & Empack show in February at the NEC in Birmingham. Run by Easyfairs, the show is the biggest UK packaging event, and it did not disappoint! With 7400+ visitors over the two days, it’s safe to say it was a very busy and successful one for us!
Innovation Gallery
Our plastic-free shrink sleeves were shortlisted as one of the top ten most innovative products of the whole show- something we are very proud of! Well done to the other companies shortlisted too!

Eco-Friendly Food Packaging Company of the Year award
We are excited and honoured to announce that we have been selected as the Eco-Friendly Food Packaging Company of the Year by the Food & Drink Matters Magazine!

Easter Egg Donation- Dr Organics
We donated £250 to cosmetics producer Dr Organics Easter Egg appeal. This appeal is focused on providing free Easter Eggs to local schools in Swansea to ensure as many local children get an Easter egg this year.

Farm Shop & Deli Show:
We’re exhibiting at the Farm Shop and Deli show between the 7-9th of April at the NEC in Birmingham. Run by William Reed, the show is one of four that make up the UK food & Drink shows. With more than 30,000 visitors expected to attend, we’re going to be busy and look forward to meeting our customers old and new, so pop along to stand N291 and say hello.

London Packaging Week:
We’re exhibiting at the Food & Consumer Pack show that is part of London Packaging Week between the 15th and 16th of October at the London Excel. With more than 5,000 visitors expected to attend, we’re going to be busy and look forward to meeting our customers old and new. If you are attending, pop along to stand B30 and say hello.
Staff corner:
Stephen Armstrong- 10 years
Our wonderful and dedicated staff are key to keeping our business going. On the 12th of January, we celebrated our Head of Operations, Stephen Armstrong’s 10-year work anniversary at Viscose! Well done Stephen and thank you for your continued dedication to our business.
Welcoming Kitti back from maternity
In March we welcomed back our Customer Service & Sales Specialist Kitti from maternity leave. Kitti heads up the customer service and sales side of our bartops and corks. If you are looking for some corks for your wine or spirits brand be sure to contact Kitti today!

Expanding sales team
We welcomed Jayke Rouse as our New Business Development Manager at the beginning of March. Jayke’s role is solely focused on creating and nurturing new customer relationships and expanding our reach globally focusing on areas such as Europe and Asia. Jayke has settled in well, bringing experience and knowledge to his role, and can’t wait to start meeting customers. Welcome to the team Jayke!
